Wind-eroded sediments in the eastern meridiani, Mars

space.com: The Mars Odyssey's Thermal Emission Imaging System (THEMIS) team at Arizona State University report on how infrared photos of Mars indicate that erosion is slowly removing a thick pile of sediments that may have once filled a crater in eastern Meridiani.
