Last chance for UK Moon shot

BBC NEWS: The UK's space funding body is to assess a proposal to send a British spacecraft to the Moon.

This would be a great accomplishment for the U.K.

The concept of firing probes into the lunar surface before humans go back to the moon in 2020 and build the planned lunar base by 2024, is important.

Such penetrators can be used to look for subsurface mineral deposits which can be of use for lunar bases and colonies that ultimately, are very likely to utilize resources for manufacturing rocket fuel, as well as for the further construction of Lunar habitats.

I wish our friends of the U.K. the best of success with this mission.
